Being a driving instructor is a very rewarding career and everyone remembers their driving instructor!

There's a range of other roles within the driver training industry; once you've gained ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) status you might choose to branch out into commercial driver training, emergency driver training, or young driver training. You may find you enjoy helping qualified drivers upskill e.g. using ADAS (driving tech), or specialise in helping learners with disabilities. 

The route to qualification can be difficult and many potential driving instructors (PDIs) never manage to pass all the tests!
